Why Weddings Are So Expensive

Hot topic alert! Hot topic alert! Yes, weddings are an investment. But I promise all the cliches are true - it really is the best day ever and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

Case in point: I had zero desire for a wedding. After my now husband and I got engaged, I thought for sure we'd run off to Vegas or Mexico and call it a day. But you know what? I fell in love with a man who wanted a wedding and I'm so glad he did. Despite all my awkward introverted reservations, it really was amazing.

And it cost the amount of a down payment on a house.

5 Tricks to Make Working from Home with Your Spouse WORK

Marriage in itself is a lot of work. Add on the pressure of running your own business, running a second business with your spouse, and oh yeah, living together, and you just might have a recipe for disaster.

Thankfully that is not the case in our home. Steven, my husband, deserves every ounce of credit for keeping our household running. He's the biggest reason I can get up at 4:30 in the morning to answer emails, spend the day in meetings, and somehow still find time to sleep. It's needless to say out loud, but Cherry Blossom would be a very different company if it weren't for his support.

Over the years we've tried all kinds of tricks to make working from home a little more bearable. In the video you'll hear the Top 5 we always try to stick to. Hopefully there will be a little nugget in there that you find useful too!
